Worship
Worship helps us fulfill our purpose to Honor God. Come as you are and join us for worship times on Sundays mornings at 11:00 a.m. and evenings at 6:00 p.m.. We enjoy a laid back casual atmosphere with traditional hymns, southern gospel and contemporary choruses using multimedia to illustrate our pastor’s Bible focused and practical application driven sermons. Sunday night focuses on worship in prayer. Need healing? Join us and we’ll pray.

Growing
Growing helps us fulfill the Great Commission and the second part of our purpose statement. We see growth as a way to help people seeking the truth about life. Through Bible study times at 9:45 a.m. Sundays and 7:00 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, we hope to help people see how much God loves them. We want to grow to become more like Jesus. Join us to learn what its like to know Jesus Christ as a friend, helper and Savior.

Caring
High Peak loves one another. We share in each other’s pain and joy and just like being together. The family atmosphere of our church will make everyone feel welcome regardless of their socio-economic background. We often support people in need with offerings given to our community’s various caring ministries. Our food ministry helps those who need it. Come to worship or Bible study to get help. We also accept food donations on the first Sunday of each month.

A message from our Pastor![Dr. Kevin Purcell, Pastor]()
![]()
I cam to High Peak in 2006. Quickly this church took us in and loved us. At first I believed they did this because many churches show care for their new pastor. They may not treat others with as much love and attention, but a new pastor is like a new gadget. We give it our attention all the time until it becomes familiar then we settle into a routine. That happened somewhat, but the same level of love kept showering over us from members.
Six plus years later, I’ve learned that High Peak just loves! Our mission station includes the phrase “loving others as Christ loves us”. While we will never perfectly love like Christ does, we see learned that the people of High Peak take that sentiment seriously.
When a guest visits our church on Sunday, they may not find the most up to date decor or the best musicians in the country. They definitely won’t hear the best preaching around. They will feel welcome.
People who chose to become a reglar part of our church will also feel a part of things. Come to a Sunday school class. Sing in the choir. Attend our Sunday night prayer services. Join a Wednesday discipleship group. Doing any of these things will connect you to people in our community and you will begin to feel loved like no other church can.
