Candidates Forum

The members of High Peak Baptist Church would like to invite the community to a candidates forum on October 29, from 6:30 till 8:30 pm at High Peak Baptist Church, 3073 High Peak Road, Valdese, NC 28690. This is a forum for all candidates for the Burke County School Board. Each candidate will be given a chance to answer a set of predetermined, unannounced questions put together by a committee of our members. Our hope and plan is to offer all the candidates a forum to share their views with us, the voters of Burke County. We hope that you will attend and hear what the candidates have to say. Our pastor will serve as moderator and due to time constraints we will not take questions from the audience. However, we do believe that the important issues that affect this race will be covered.
