High Peak Baptist Church wants to help the hungry with our food pantry that we use to help anyone in need. We may not have the resources to pay light bills, make house or car payments, but we will give you a box of free food if you come asking. We collect food regularly at our church from member who want to help.
Cara Stillwell organizes food pantry
If you are in need food distribution happens one of two ways.
- Come to Church – if you need food come to one of our worship activities on Sundays at 9:45 am, 11 am or 6 pm or on Wednesdays at 7 pm. Just ask anyone and they will direct you to our food ministry leader, Cara Stillwell. Cara is one of our teenagers and she will collect a box of food for you from the pantry and have one of our boys take it to your car.
- Contact us – while we give away food at our services without questions, you can contact if you you need food in an emergency situation. Arrange for your transportation to come get it and we will be happy to supply you with some food. You can send us an email or call/text our food hotline at (828) 368-9382.
If you cannot come to our church, in rare cases we might be able to arrange to bring you food, but only if you are disabled. Sorry if this is inconvenient. For other kinds of help, we refer you to the Outreach Center in Mornganton, NC.
