If you come to Vacation Bible School this year at High Peak Baptist Church, you’re bound to see some strange creatures invading the hallways, classrooms and sanctuary at our church. Dr. Seuss will invade High Peak on June 17 at 6 PM.
Remember Horton who heard a Who? Remember the Grinch who stole Christmas from Whoville? We also expect to see some strange colored fish, maybe one fish or two fish or some red and blue fish.
Supper at 5:45 for all who are attending. Ends about 8:45 each night.

Our theme for VBS is Dr. Seuss and each night we’ll study a different story or message from the Bible and enjoy a different Seuss story. Here’s the schedule…

- Oh, the Places You’ll Go – Wednesday
- One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish – Thursday
- Celebration Night – Friday
We have classes for all ages from three years old to adults. We begin with a supper meal each night and then dismiss children to their classes. The adults begin then about 15 minutes later around 6:45 and go for about an hour. Finally, the night ends with a fun closing celebration time of music and other cool stuff, especially on Wednesday.
Friday night we will cap off the week with a cookout and some obstacle course games all after we see what each class did during the week.
On Sunday morning the pastor will preach a message inspired by the Cat in the Hat.
