Easter Celebration at High Peak on Easter Sunday

On Easter Sunday we’ll have a Sonrise Celebration at 8:30 a.m. with music and devotion on the front steps of the church. Look forward to special music and a devotion from our pastor. This will last about 30-40 minutes.

After the Sonrise Celebration, we’ll enjoy a light breakfast in the Fellowship Hall until Sunday School starts at 9:45 a.m.. Biscuits, juice and milk plus some other treats for your enjoyment.

Our Easter worship service will start at 11:00 a.m. with a message on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus is Risen! Enjoy the music and worship as we celebrate the Lord’s resurrection.

On Sunday night we won’t have worship. Spend the night with your family.

In addition to Easter Sunday, we’ll commemorate the Triumphal Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem on Sunday April 14, the week before Easter. This is Palm Sunday. That day will include our regular schedule of activities with Sunday School at 9:45, Worship at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m..

During the Palm Sunday celebration we will take part in the Lord’s Supper Communion service. This day of remembrance, repentance and restoration will get us ready for Easter.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering supports missions in North America.

In Southern Baptist life we equate Easter with North American Missions. We’ll give to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Mission on two Sundays, April 7 and on Easter Sunday during the morning worship.

Church Planter Trey Van Camp helps get word out about his ministry as a YouTube Vlogger.

On Sunday night April 7, we will have church planter Trey Van Camp from Arizona with us via Skype to share about his ministry planting a church and reaching the people of his community for Christ. He was one of our North American Mission Board missionaries for a number of years before becoming bi-vocational and self supporting. One way he pays the bills for his family is as a popular YouTube star.

Above you’ll see one of his vlogs on his trip to Israel.
