We’ve experienced a crisis at High Peak Baptist Church. It seems the Grinch, yes that Grinch from Dr. Seuss, stole Vacation Bible School. VBS this year will take place anyway, but we need to find out how to help overcome this terrible crime.
Our VBS will start on June 13th at 5:45 pm with supper. Then we’ll divide into classes for preschool through adults. The theme of the week will be fun as Grinchiness will win each night. The night will end with a final celebration time in the sanctuary.
The last night on Friday will include a demonstration of what the kids learned plus a fellowship meal.
Adult Vacation Bible School
We are one of the few churches that also includes a class for adults. If you’re not helping lead a class, then come to the adult class where we’ll study God’s word.
Charity – South Mountain Baptist Camp
The offering collected will go to a great cause. South Mountain Baptist Camps forms young lives for Jesus Christ with week-long camps held all summer long. They are working on some improvements at the physical grounds of the camp and our offering will go to support their work.
The boys and girls compete for who can bring in the most offering. So, plan to come and give. Then you’ll see a wonderful reward as someone will get wonderfully embarrassed.
