Party Foods Fellowship

the big game trophy for football party fellowship

December was a busy month like most Christmas seasons. After some downtime this January, we will “kick off” our Second Sunday Fellowship in February with a Football Party Fellowship. You can come for the food and head home after eating or you can enjoy the big game and the football party foods leftovers.

Join us on February 12 at 5:30 p.m. this month to enjoy a fellowship of party foods. That means things like snacks, desserts, and other party-style foods. We’re starting at 5:30, so you can fellowship, eat, and then head home if you like.

Bring Your Favorite Party Foods

Bring your favorite party foods and deserts. Bring drinks and plan to share with everyone who attends.

According to Sports Illustrated, here are the favorite foods to bring to a football party:

  • Potato Skins
  • Chili
  • Jalapeno Poppers
  • Veggies and Dip
  • Pigs in a Blanket
  • Pizza
  • Sliders
  • Buffalo Chicken Dip
  • Nachos
  • Chips and Dip

The top favorite finger food for a good football party is …

Football fans should plan on staying to watch the big game. I know my wife hopes to see the Cincinnati Bengals.

You might cheer on the Bills, Jaguars, Philly, or Cowboys. No matter who you’re rooting for, stay with us and enjoy the rest of the party foods left over from the fellowship. Come dressed in your team’s gear to show your spirit.

Invite Friends and Family to the Football Party Fellowship

This night gives you an opportunity to invite some friends or family who like food and football. Bring them with you so we can get to know them. Maybe they’ll enjoy themselves and want to come back for worship, Sunday school, or Wednesday night Bible study.

Remember that fellowship is a big part of this night. But let’s also remember that we have a purpose – to reach people for Jesus. Use this a chance to take people closer to Jesus on their journey of faith.
