Sunday School for Children and Youth Starting Back in March
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we stopped holding Sunday School for children and youth on Sunday mornings last year in Spring. For the last few months, the kids came together for Winter Bible School and it was a fun and instructional time for the kids, youth, and their teachers.
Sunday School Finally Coming Back in March
We’re happy to announce that we will start holding Sunday School again on March 7, 2021, during the morning worship time. That’s right! We have four teams of teachers who will teach the kids starting at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday while adults meet in the sanctuary for worship.
The teachers will use our LifeWay Sunday School curriculum, which begins with the books of Matthew, Judges, Ruth, Psalms, and Joel. That’s jumping all over the place, but they will love the fun lessons our teachers will plan.
How to Have Your Kids in High Peak Sunday School
Unlike the Winter Bible School, our Sunday School will meet in the large Youth Room on the lower level of the building. Park on the left side of the church as you face the front door. Then brink the kids in the side door that leads to the lower level. We will start at 11:00 a.m. but you may want to bring your children 5-10 minutes early.
Like we did with Winter Bible School, Covid-19 precautions are in place. Kids will wear masks and use hand sanitizer or soap and water.
We will only have one class for the children of all ages. The teenagers will help lead the kids on a scheduled rotation.
